Lee McGowan

Lee began his dance career with Simon and Heidi at the age of 7. Since the age of 8, he has achieved honours in all ISTD exams from under 8 to Adult Gold Awards; he is a regular finalist in Regional and National events. Less has also competed within the open circuit, winning many titles along the way. Lee now competes in the Amateur ranks with dance partner Aimie Leak, together they are ranked amongst the top 15 couples across the country.

Lee is in his third year at college studying performing arts, gaining distinctions for his BTEC first diploma along with Bronze, Silver and Gold LAMDA exams. His acting experience includes playing Seymour in ‘Little Shop of Horrors’, Barry in ‘Dining with Lady Macbeth’ and West Side Story. He recently secured the role in ‘The Whizz’, and plans to start his BA Hons degree at Bournemouth University in 2009, before pursuing a full-time professional career in dance.
